1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

We only collect data that you provide voluntarily through the contact form:

First and last name
Professional email address
Organisation
Area of interest and the content of your message

We do not collect this data through cookies, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

3. Why we use it and the legal basis

Your data is processed for the sole purpose of receiving and responding to your enquiry, and managing any relationship that follows. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in handling requests from prospective and existing clients. Where an engagement follows, processing is based on the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept only as long as necessary to handle your request and any relationship that follows. Where no engagement follows, it is deleted once it is no longer needed for that purpose. Where an engagement begins, data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the legal retention periods that apply thereafter.

5. Who has access

Your data is accessed only by mavam.io. It is never sold. It may be processed by our technical service providers (in particular our website host, Netlify, Inc., and our email provider) solely to operate the service, under appropriate data-processing terms. Where a provider is located outside the European Union, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may exercise these rights at any time by emailing projects@mavam.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses strictly necessary technical storage (a service worker cache and local storage) to enable offline access and the progressive web app experience. This storage is exempt from prior consent and contains no personal data.

8. External services

Some pages load resources from third-party providers (such as web fonts and, on the diagnostic and capabilities pages, a PDF-generation library). These providers may receive your IP address as a technical necessity to deliver the resource. They do not use it to track you on this website.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The current version is always available on this page.
